Resolution

Abstract:

In response to complaints alleging that Faxon St. Luke's (a hospital in Utica, NY) failed to provide adequate interpretation and translation services to LEP patients, the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) commenced an investigation into the hospital's procedures and practices with LEP patients. The hospital entered an agreement with the OAG to appoint a Language Assistance Coordinator and implement other activities for LEP patients.
