THE DREAM ACT: WE ALL HAVE A DREAM
Let's Work Together Before it's to late!
THE PROBLEM
• 12,000 undocumented students graduate from high
school in Colorado each year, without the right to
attend college.
• The cost of college for an undocumented student is
about $11,000 per semester compared to $2,000 for
a documented student.
• Undocumented students do NOT qualify for financial
aid, scholarships, or loans.
THE SOLUTION
• Pass the DREAM ACT
• Allowing students with good moral character to continue
their education.
To QUALIFY
• Show good moral character
• Have lived in the U.S. since before they were 15
years of age.
• Have been here more than five years,
• Apply for 6 years of Conditional Residency.
• Complete 2 years of college or 2 years in the military.
• After 6 years, they can apply for Permanent
Residency.
